Paul rebuked the Corinthian church for carnality; not because they lacked gifts, but because they lacked unity. Carnality manifests in envy, strife, and division; all of which hinder spiritual growth and kingdom impact.

A. Signs of Carnality

• Envying: Wanting what others have

• Strife: Constant conflict and competition

• Division: Disunity and tribalism

• These are symptoms of a flesh-driven life, not a Spirit-led one.

Summary

Carnality is not just about sin; it’s about mindset. When we focus on competition, comparison, and division, we block the flow of God’s Spirit. Overcoming carnality means choosing unity, humility, and spiritual maturity.
